Hero MotoCorp took the wraps off something radical at the EICMA 2023 in the form of the Concept 2.5R Xtunt. As its name suggests, it is positioned as a stunt bike and comes with all the equipment to suit its purpose.
This concept motorcycle is based on the Karizma XMR – Hero’s fully-faired bike. From the one picture the company has released, it is clear that the 2.5R Xtunt is built around the same chassis that the Karizma XMR uses. It also shares the engine casings, which makes us believe that the same 210cc liquid-cooled 25bhp engine will power this new naked bike.
Currently, there aren’t a lot of details on the Concept 2.5R Xtunt, but we expect it to hit the production line later this year. Over the last few months, the brand has made its presence felt in the premium segment with the Karizma XMR and the Harley-Davidson X440. With this 2.5R Xtunt, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer wants to compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
The motorcycle is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs 1.65 lakh for the production variant, and it is likely to come with many new and bright colour options.
