The Pulsar NS125 has a decent fuel efficiency figure of around 40 kmpl. This Bajaj gets its power from a 124 cc, air-cooled engine that is housed in the motorcycle’s perimeter frame. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox and is capable of churning out 12 bhp of power at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The power delivery is linear and is also friendly while riding in the city. It churns out decent low and mid-range torque, making overtakes quite easy in the city. The throttle response isn’t as good as its bigger sibling, but manages to outperform most of the competitors in its class.

The Pulsar NS125 rides on telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The brakes are a single 240 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum unit at the back. CBS comes as standard. The bike weighs 144 kgs making it one of the heaviest in the segment. But with accessible seat height, the Pulsar NS125 does manage to make life a bit easier for the rider.
