The 450S is the base variant in the Ather’s electric scooter line-up. It’s priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh and is set to debut soon. The 450S is also the most affordable Ather electric scooter with the pricing above.
The Ather 450S is powered by a 3kWh battery and is said to offer a 115km IDC (ideal driving conditions) range. Meanwhile, its top speed is limited to 90kmph. The brand is yet to reveal more details about the 450S and we expect that to happen in August.
The 450S will feature the same youthful and sporty design as the 450X. So, the apron-mounted LED headlight, pointed front end, and sharp rear side panels are expected to remain unchanged. Even the front forks, rear monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends are expected to be carried over.
Once launched, the Ather 450S will rival the Ola S1, TVS iQube S, Bajaj Chetak, and a few other electric scooters in the same price bracket.
