Ducati Multistrada V4 is a bike available in 4 variants and 8 colours. The Ducati Multistrada V4 is powered by 1158cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 167.62 bhp and a torque of 125 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Multistrada V4 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Multistrada V4 bike weighs 240 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 22 liters.
Ducati has launched the new Multistrada V4 and the Multistrada V4 S in the Indian market. The base model is available in a single colour option (Ducati Red) while the S variant has been listed in two paint choices (Ducati Red and Aviator Grey).
Both variants use a BS6-compliant 1,158cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 168bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 125Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. The oil change interval is scheduled every 15,000km while a valve clearance check and eventual adjustment are required every 60,000km. The motor is linked to a six-speed transmission.
The styling, too, is identical on both variants. The new Multistrada V4 series retains the overall silhouette of its predecessor, the Multistrada 1260, although the new model gets revised proportions and compactness. The flagship adventure tourer of the Italian brand comes equipped with a twin-pod headlight, a semi-fairing, an adjustable windscreen, a 22-litre fuel tank, split-style seats, side-slung exhaust, and a double-sided swingarm. Unlike the old model, the new variants ride on 19-inch front/17-inch rear wheels.
The new Multistrada V4 S is the first motorcycle in the Indian market to benefit from a front and rear radar system. The new radar tech brings features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) to the motorcycle. The electronic aids, which work with the inertial platform (IMU), include ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The S variant further benefits from Cornering Lights (DCL), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), and the electronically adjustable, semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) control system with Autoleveling function.
