The 2022 edition of the bike comes draped in a new Lime Green colour option comprising a new set of decals. Kawasaki has also tweaked the engine for better low-end torque than before which should make it easier to get out of tricky situations. Powering the 2022 KLX450R is a 449cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. This engine cradles a light-weight aluminium perimeter frame that works in tandem with long travel upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by petal-type disc brakes at both ends. Moreover, there’s a Renthal aluminium handlebar and a tiny digital console.
